Happy Sunday, y'all! It has been such a refreshing week for me because I have had a lot of time to get things D O N E. My man was out of town for work the whole week, and my dog Zeik is at camp - lol. He loves it. I finally got the chance to reach out to some vendors for the wedding and secured some meetings. Go me! (I'm always last minute with things.) Anyway, since some of you are new to the blog - welcome! It's still so cold here in Texas and I'm excited that I get still wear a few coats that have been hanging in the closet. I was soooo lucky that I got this Top Shop coat (now sold out)  because it would sell out, restock, sell out, restock and I kept watching the site until I finally scored it. And it was on sale. Not to rub that in. But I love the color even more in person. It's such a gorgeous shade of pink it's almost more on the warm, mauve neutral side.

This coat is also so very comfortable and oh so warm. I just wanna sleep in it. I didn't plan on wearing it with a pink sweater and a pink bag, it just kind of happened. I loved how the different shades of pink worked so well so I ran with it. I also plan on wearing this coat with a black or brown turtleneck and black pants - maybe. It's that versatile. The one that I am wearing is called "Alicia" and it also came in a pretty brown color. Even though you can't get this one anymore, I have rounded up 5 other pink coats that you should check out! Even if you aren't a pink girl you still might like these because...they're that good. Also, 'tis the season to buy coats because of the many Winter sales going on this time of the year. Have a wonderful weekend! <3

I've been on the hunt for a g o o d pair of red booties for a couple months now - until I found theeeeeeese. Everywhere I looked, I just could not find the right style that would suit me. Either the heel would be too short, my size was sold out, or I'd find a pair way out of my price range. It seems as if those were my ongoing issues with solving my red bootie fix. I finally found this pair at Steve Madden and instantly loved the pointed toe with the chunky blocked heel. Red is just like a neutral that can be paired with so many shades in your wardrobe to make a bold pop when needed. Not to mention, the color red is so sexy! I pulled the look together with my new striped sweater that I love oh so much from my friends over at Dylan Wylde during their Holla Day party back in December. I do plan on wearing it a few more times with denim or a skirt before I put it away until it gets cold enough again. Sweater weather will be over soon in Texas...and I don't know if I'm excited about that or sad?

Just as I was toward the end, I thought I'd add a little bit of encouragement to this post. At first I was thinking; "wait this is just supposed to be an outfit post." But whatever. I thought about Oprah's speech at the Golden Globes last night and felt so inspired. If you didn't get a chance to catch it live then here it is. Just remember ladies; you are enough. Enough to create change, enough to speak up, enough to stand up, and enough to run anything you want. YOU. ARE. ENOUGH.

I just love that time of the year when you get to break out all the sweaters and jackets and wear them on repeat. Unfortunately, here in Texas sweater weather doesn't last too long. So when we have it, undoubtedly we take full advantage! I absolutely love this chunky knit sweater that I recently got from H&M and I plan on wearing it multiple times this season. I just really love a nice grey sweater. I paired it with this  Who What Wear Wrap-Tie Skirt that I'm obsessed with, and burgundy velvet booties that I scored from Steve Madden last year. I tried to find the to link for you guys, but they're sold out. (you can shop similar styles at the the end of this post) Each piece from this look can be so versatile which makes it so easy to wear on a daily basis - casually or a bit more dressed up. I also want to wear this sweater with denim, maybe a vinyl skirt, or even under a coat when it gets much colder here. Side note, if you haven't been to Target to check out the Who What Wear collection, I highly recommend you do so! They have been coming out with so many gooood pieces lately that I've been adding to my "want-list."
